If you book our mobile bar you will find the beer prices very similar to those in the pub. All we request is that all drinks consumed on the night are purchased from the bar.

Hog Roast Hire Hog Roast services from The Wheastsheaf Gamlingay in Bedfordshire We provide a whole pig, gutted and cleaned ready for spit roasting. Our Hog Roast prices include everything needed including a whole hog, a person to supervise and carve, rolls, sauces, Gazebo, Serving Table and utensils. If you let us know how many people you need to cater for we will provide a suitable hog that will ensure that all your guests are well fed. Our rule of thumb for catering for events is allowing for around a minimum of 200g of meat per person.  A hog roast is the longest event - and customers should allow around seven hours from our arrival until all food served to customers. Our Hog Roast Process is normally.. 1. We arrive about seven hours before serving. 2. After our initial set up, the hog takes about 5 hours to be cooked on the spit roast. 3. We will take an hour to cut the meat from the bone. 4. We recommend serving the hog straight from the machine to keep it nice and warm, and serving around takes around 1 – 1.5 hours. 5. We serve our hog with apple sauce and customers can choose to serve themselves rolls and any salads you have ordered. 6. We clean and clear away, leaving you to enjoy your event.
