Weddings at Moseley Old Hall

Moseley Old Hall is a beautiful Elizabethan house set in the Staffordshire countryside, with a 17th-century style formal knot garden. The house is more famously known for its association with Charles II.

The historic gardens surrounding the hall make a beautiful backdrop for photographs. In this unique setting we do a limited number of weddings each year, and you are therefore assured of exclusivity by our strict policy of never accepting more than one client per day.

The Barn

Moseley Old Hall is an approved venue and the room licensed for Civil Marriages is the Barn, which is available for private hire on Fridays and Saturdays, with certain restrictions when the property is open to the public. The barn was built around 1700 and was fully restored in 1987.

The spirit of this romantic property, one-time hiding place to the fugitive king, Charles II, can only be appreciated by experiencing its timeless tranquillity first hand, and therefore we would be delighted to show you round and discuss your particular requirements. Please contact us if you would like to book an appointment.
